Mounting the transducer:

The transducer(s) should be placed below the water line at the bottom inside the boat.

Make sure that you do not site the transducer on any false floor or internal skin.

It is very important that it is mounted on the actual external part of the hull (polyester).

A location within 1-1.5 meters of the propeller(s) or drive unit(s) will help to keep this clean within the effective area of the transducer.

In some situations it is more practical to use a combination of f.e. 1x Shipsonic 10 unit together

with 1x Shipsonic 20 unit. Of course you can call or mail us to find the most practical and effective solution concerning the inside situation in you yacht.
